Logan Sargeant is an American racing driver who competes in Formula 2 for Carlin. He is a member of the Williams Driver Academy and is set to make his Formula One debut with Williams Racing in 2023. Sargeant is the 2022 Formula 2 champion.

Early life and career

Logan Sargeant was born on 31 December 2000 in Boca Raton, Florida. He began karting at the age of eight and quickly rose through the ranks, winning multiple championships in the United States and Europe. In 2017, he made his single-seater debut in the Formula 4 United States Championship, finishing third in the championship.In 2018, Sargeant moved to Europe to compete in the Formula Renault Eurocup. He finished 11th in his first season, but improved to fourth in 2019. In 2020, he made his FIA Formula 3 Championship debut with Prema Racing. He finished seventh in the championship, taking one victory at the Hungaroring.

Formula 2 career

In 2021, Sargeant moved up to Formula 2 with Carlin. He finished seventh in the championship in his rookie season, taking two podium finishes. In 2022, he won the championship with Carlin, taking two wins and six podium finishes.

Formula One career

Sargeant will make his Formula One debut with Williams Racing in 2023. He will partner Alex Albon, who is entering his second season with the team. Sargeant is the first American driver to race in Formula One since Alexander Rossi in 2015.

Logan Sargeant is the son of Scott Sargeant, a former racing driver. He is a graduate of Pine Crest School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He is currently in a relationship with fellow racing driver Tatiana Caldern.
